HOW DOES IT AFFECT MY WEBSITE?

The single most important change that businesses will need to make to comply with this new law is to update their website’s privacy policy and other website documentation. This is for the simple reason that your privacy policy is one of the few parts of your business that GDPR affects which is public, and therefore any non-compliance will be visible for anyone to see. It is also one of the areas of the GDPR which can attract the highest fines.
